Sherman bought one of these for under $ 15 I have an Ethernet adapter to my router. At the other end of the second Powerline adapter (which uses your home electrical wiring), I concluded this change. Around the switch, connected my DirecTV DVR and a USB Ethernet adapter on my Series 2 TiVo (which has only one USB port) to connect. Everything works perfectly. No configuration required (of course it could not connect to non-computer equipment). It just works. Excellent quality contacts for home and SOHO needs Sparky Jones This is my third purchase of D-Link "Green" series switches. My third purchase not because of mistake, but because they are so great products. These switches are extremely easy to configure, works as advertised, and energy savings compared with other 'normal' changes to boot! It has auto sensing ports, so they are easy to install and "just works" My only complaint would get a little warm ... but not the device?
