Compatibility warning by Arthur P. Steinmetz This product is not compatible with 802.3af PoE. This means that you must use the supplied terminal unit with the base included. If you have a PoE switch later on will not work with the terminal unit. Why did they do it that way, only God knows. Because, as you can cut splitters at both ends and save yourself some money.
