Growing businesses require cost effective, networking solutions that can scale with ever changing business needs. The Linksys SRW208P WebView managed switch brings a whole new level of intelligence and security to the network infrastructure. The combination of its intelligence and small size make it ideal for a conference room or training room where security and uptime are important. It offers a two Gigabit copper or optical interfaces for connection to a core switch. For Wireless or VoIP deployments, the SRW208P supports IEEE802.3af standard for Power over Ethernet. With automatic load sensing, the power control circuitry automatically detects Power over Ethernet on end-device before providing power. Power feeding of Ethernet limited for fixed 10/100 Base-T/TX ports. The solution can provide maximum output power per PoE port up to 15.4W on 4 ports or 7.5W per PoE port on 8 ports simultaneously.

It was under multicast. I had to set all of the ethernet ports to static. Other then that it worked perfect. Also this switch comes with 3 years hardware and 5 years of phone support from Cisco. They have people on the phones 24x7 which is awesome. And to top it off, the people you speak with are American! 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Great Small Switch By AgedWireHead The Linksys SRW208P (and its 16 and 24-port cousins) are great switches. The power-over-Ethernet feature is well designed, even recognizing that an old (pre-standards POE) Cisco phone is plugged in and properly feeding it power! Quality-of-service is appropriately and automatically configured for VOIP on the switch. Add an appropriate UPS to power the switch, router, and cable/DSL modem, and a home or small office VOIP setup takes a large step toward reliability. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Works fine, but web UI requires IE By Carlos Alvarez This would be a five-star product, except the web interface won't work with anything other than IE. We don't have any Windows computers, so we can't run IE. I'm shocked that in 2011 there are still products that require IE. Leave it to Cisco, often a great product, but sometimes makes you wonder what they were thinking. Functionally it works well, powers everything fine, and performs well. We're using it with Linksys/Cisco IP phones and several brands of IP cameras. See all 4 customer reviews...
